Fireworks Safety Update

1605 Fireworks are totally committed to the safety of our clients and our crews.  We will not compromise on safety and if this means we won’t fire a show so be it.  With that in mind you can be confident that we will not put you, your audience or your reputation at risk.

With the Corona virus still impacting on everyone’s lives we have reviewed how we work with each other, with venues and with our clients.  All our team use the NHS track and trace app and ensure we maintain social distancing when preparing our displays.  We travel to site independently and having been briefed prior to setting the display up now work independently too.  We won’t go and see clients before or after the display except where specifically requested and always maintain at least 2 metres distance.  This does mean we can’t now give clients the opportunity to start their own display but we’d rather that than risk inadvertently spreading the virus.  All our equipment is quarantined after use and vehicles are deep cleaned.

Whilst we don’t sell fireworks, we do know that retail sales have increased dramatically this year as public events have been cancelled.  If you do buy fireworks for your own use we would urge that you buy from a reputable supplier – one that sells fireworks all year round.  These suppliers have more extensive knowledge and can recommend suitable fireworks for your own circumstances and will explain how to use them safely.  PLEASE do follow their advice and remember the number one rule – if a firework doesn’t go off when lit – DO NOT RETURN TO IT.
